Correction improves many surface-level defects, but deep scratches, chips, failing clear coat or other damage may remain or require bodywork. Results depend on paint condition.
One-step is a single polishing stage for lighter improvement. Two-step generally uses separate correction and refinement stages for a more intensive result.
Deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat may not be safely removable by polishing. Inspection comes first.
Protection can be a sensible follow-up to polished paint. See the Ceramic Coating options and ask AMD what preparation is included.
